1 st International Young Chemists Symposium
The symposium takes place for the first time in Austria at the Technical
University of Graz, from 4 th - 6 th , July 2012. A group of young chemists
organizes this symposium in cooperation with the German and Swiss chemical
societies.
Within the scope of this conference the european and international
cooperation between young researchers from all areas of chemistry should be
presented and promoted.
Plenary talks of internationally respectable and famous researchers will
form the first quintessential point of the 3 day event to build a
connection between already very successful researchers and beginning
scientists. The plenary lectures will be held by Prof. Dr. Dieter Seebach
(ETH Zuerich), Prof. Dr. Detlef Guenther (ETH Zuerich), Prof. Dr. Peter
Seeberger (MPI Potsdam) and Prof. Dr. Guenter Grampp (TU Graz).
Besides there will be Studentsessions to present resent development in
chemistry by young scientists concerning all essential branches of
chemistry on the second day.
On the third day the whole event will come to an end with a big
experimental lecture. This experimental lecture will be held by Prof. Dr.
Herbert Roesky (University of Goettingen).
A very essential part in this event is the linking to the economic section
of chemistry. The possibility to gain insight and establish contact into
famous companies and their working spectrum should be offered to all
participants.
The Registration Deadline will be 17 th June, 2012.
Submission Deadline for oral presentation will be 31 st May 2012.
Submission Deadline for poster presentation will be 17 th June 2012.
